Thad Wesley Hill, 83, of El Dorado went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was born December 17, 1938 to Thad and Lela Hill in Lawson, Arkansas. Thad married his loving wife of 33 years, JoAnn, on March 9, 1984.

Thad was a dedicated employee and co-owner of Pendleton's Furniture Company for more than four decades. Whether it was working the polls on Election Day or being an active member of Champagnolle Landing, Thad enjoyed serving others with a friendly smile and a soft 'hello.'  When he was not hunting, Thad would dedicate his weekdays to folding bulletins for his church. A devout member of Mt. Union Baptist Church, Thad and JoAnn regularly attended Golden Agers where they fellowshipped with other believers. At least once a month Thad would minister to many in the church by cooking his favorite meal, breakfast.

Thad was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn; step-son, Jimmy Dolden; sister Margaret Young; nephew Larry Young; and his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include: three sons Mike Hill and his wife Mary, Russ Hill, Scott Hill, two daughters Kristi Misenheimer and her husband Gary; Lorrie Moudy and her husband Billy Bob; two stepsons John Dolden and his wife Angelia, Harold Dolden and his husband Donald, one stepdaughter Rita Parrish and her husband Gregg; daughter-in-law Pam Dolden, sister-in-law Faye Richmond and husband James "Wishbone"; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Mt. Union Baptist Church, El Dorado, AR, Pastor John Ayers officiating. Interment to follow immediately after at Smyrna Cemetery in El Dorado, AR. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 5-7:00pm.
