Thelma B. Smith, 94, of Mabelvale, AR, formerly of El Dorado, passed away August 21, 2016 at her home.
Thelma was born October 1, 1921 in Mt. Holly, AR to the late Lemul Thomas Darden and Mary Ann Jetton Darden .
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon V. Smith; eight brothers, Dossie, Johnny, Doyle, Harper, Elmer, Joseph, Orlean (Pete) and Junior Darden; five sisters, Lillian Cokes, Jossie Smith, Ruby Mosley, Virdie Phillips; also two daughters, Kathleen Williams, her husband, Jimmy Williams and JoAnn Robison, her husband Harold Robison, all of El Dorado.
She is survived by her daughter, Janell Butler (Otto Gus Butler, III) of Mabelvale AR; one sister, Birdie Nipper; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm, Tuesday, August 23 with services immediately following visitation at 3pm at Perry's Funeral Chapels.
Interment following at Arlington Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
