Vera Cogburn, 80, of Strong, AR passed away November 14, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Born April 14, 1935 to William Edward Cates and Ulla Bell Sparkman Cates. She was a member of Harper Springs Baptist Church of Huttig. Vera loved to cook and spend quality time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, her late husbands Virgil Tomlinson and her and Wesley Cogburn, three children: Fred Cogburn, James Cogburn and Linda Jean Cogburn, three brothers and one sister.

Those left behind are her children; Kathy Langston (Roger) of Marion, LA, Glenda Farris (Jimmy) of Strong, Sheila Dontje of El Dorado, Pete Cogburn (Tracy) of Strong, Louia Cogburn (Vee) of Huttig, Pat Cogburn of El Dorado, Mae Webb (Buck) of Urbana, Ray Mullins of Urbana, Janie Lee Black of Monett, Mo, 23 grand-children, 40 great -grandchildren and 11 great great -grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 Monday November 16, 2015 at 2nd Ave Missionary Baptist Church in Strong. Services will be 10am Tuesday November 17 also at 2nd Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. Interment following at Green Grove Cemetery.
