Victor Charles "Vic" Childs, 64, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 following a brief illness. Vic was born February 1, 1961 to Charles Howard Childs and Patricia Miller Childs, both of whom preceded him in death.

Vic was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He worked in construction over the years and was also very good at carpentry. In 1982 he married Deborah Richard, who shared his passion for the outdoors.

Vic is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Deborah Childs; two daughters, Jennifer Burks of Camden, Arkansas and Kelly Childs of El Dorado; one son, Casey Childs of El Dorado; six grandchildren: Kiarra Burks, Brandon Young, Jaylan Miller, Mackenzie Miller, Brayden Childs and Ava Miller; a sister, Karen Sparks of Wolfe City, Texas
