Virginia Ann Sweet, 74, of El Dorado, passed away June 18, 2019. She was born in El Dorado on July 5, 1944 to the late Willie and Iverne Kennedy. Although, Virginia enjoyed bowling, fishing, cruises and going to garage sales, she had a passion for flower. However, the thing that brought her the most joy was spending a lot of time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, K.W. Sweet; brother, Frankie Wayne Kennedy and two great grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Jeremy Sweet and Wayne Sweet (Shannon); daughters, Lanette Slater (Cecil) and Robin Joyner (Eddie); sisters, Faye Briggs (Tony), Lynn Birchfield (Danny), Annette Smith; brother, Jimmy Kennedy (Kathy); eight grandchildren; Jake Sweet (Jennifer), Joey Slater (Laiken), Timmy Williams, Brandy White (Josh) all of El Dorado, Cheyenne Sweet, Brittany Benson, Savannah Sweet and Justice Sweet all of Orange, Texas; nineteen great grandchildren and lots of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Anthony Briggs officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Methodist Cemetery on Junction City Highway.

Family will welcome guests at 147 Memory Lane Drive, El Dorado, Arkansas.
