Obituary

Vivian Louise Pankey White, 93 of El Dorado, passed away November 28, 2019. She was born August 14, 1926 to the late William Arthur and Rena Lee Coston Pankey in Fouke, Miller County, Arkansas.

Vivian served as Administrative Secretary and Court Reporter under the Honorable Oren Harris, U.S. District Judge, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas for a total of 16 years, retiring in 1992.

She was an avid golfer and a member of First United Methodist Church of El Dorado since 1966. Vivian, Bud, and the dog (Butch) were independent oil operators and producers under the name of B & B operators, Union County, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, D.R. "Bud" White; her parents; brothers, Virgil Arthur Pankey and Joseph Don Pankey, and sister Jean Hill.

Vivian is survived by her niece-daughter, Amaryllis Henson Downey (Jim); sister, Linda Pankey-Sullivan (Charles); two grandsons, Grant Harrington and Phillip Harrington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
