Wanda Thurlkill Webb, also known to many as G-Mom, age 70 of El Dorado, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the MCSA.
She was born on April 28, 1945 in DeRitter, Louisiana to Percy and Janie Thurlkill. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Guy Webb Jr.; her children Kim Hendrix and her husband Randy; Gidget Webb; Lex Webb and his wife Jessica; Grandchildren Krystal Swint and her husband John; Kameron Craig and his wife Stacie; Guy Lex Webb, Gabriel Webb, Conner Webb, Jane Webb, and Kye Webb; Great-grandchildren Dixie Craig, Kylee Swint, and Alaina Grace Craig; Her brothers Sonny and Rex Thurlkill; and sister Yvonne Smith; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was the owner and operator of Wanda's Beauty Shop for 35 years. She loved being G-Mom to her grandchildren, cooking, and shopping.
Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2016 from 6 to 8 at Mt. Union Baptist Church. Services will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00pm at Mt Union Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas with interment at Smyrna Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
