William Carlos Vines Jr, age 67, passed from this life Monday November 11, 2024. Bill was born October 7, 1957 in Pasadena, TX to William and Ossie Vines.

William gave his heart to Jesus on October 14, 1980 (44 years ago) becoming a changed man, never looking back to his old ways again. His life as a dedicated Christian and Prayer Warrior was a Testimony to so many around. William had a career as a truck driver for 38 years where he enjoyed meeting and witnessing to everyone. His favorite hobbies were reading the bible, listening to gospel music, and reading and singing to his great - grandson Beaux. William was the most loving Husband, caring dad, and special Papa in the whole world who will be truly missed!

He was preceded in death by his mother Ossie Hortess Stagg Vines; one brother Everett Paxton; and one grandson Christopher Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of forty-four years Rachel Relinda Jo Vines; two daughters Rachel Reed-Dumas (Raymond) and Victoria Catherine Wilson (Jackie); five grandchildren Harrison Wilson, Julie Wilson, Rylan Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, McKayla Wilson; one great-grandchild Christopher Beaux Ware; father William Carlos Vines, Sr; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services in his honor will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at El Dorado First Assembly of God in El Dorado, AR, Pastor Daniel Eggers and Pastor Greg Tucker officiating, internment following at Strong Cemetery in Strong, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2024 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
