William E. Richard (Billy), 74 of El Dorado, AR passed away on June 21, 2023. He was born on

September 12, 1948 in Richmond, California to the late William G and Joy T Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 50 years Glenda Kaye Richard.

Billy was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a die-hard Razorback

and Dallas Cowboy fan, but we never held that against him. Besides his family and friends, SCUBA

diving was his greatest passion. Countless hours were spent at the lake and in the classroom

sharing and teaching his love for SCUBA with others.

Those left to cherish his memory include: two daughters Christina (Dan) Hostetter, and Shannon

(Tony) Wood; six grandchildren Kristen (Walker) Hildebrand, Daniel (Kaitlyn) Hostetter, Jackson

Hostetter, Ashton (Lexie) Drummond, Andrew Drummond, and Austin Drummond; nine great-

grandchildren Cameron Hildebrand, Jensen Hildebrand, Brayden Kimbell, Grayson Drummond,

Lincoln Hildebrand, Gavin Drummond, Adilyn Hostetter, with Gunner Ryan Drummond and

Tessa Kate Hildebrand arriving any day; and numerous lifelong friends that turned into family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, June 26, 2023, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
