Zelda Loraine Morris age 102 of Strong, AR passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home in El Dorado.  Zelda was born on December 14, 1917 in Springhill, LA to the late Dora Della Duck Maroney and Jesse Young Maroney.  Zelda, was loved and affectionally known as "Aunt Zet" to everyone.  She formerly worked as a florist in Crossett, for many years and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Strong.  Zelda loved raising a large vegetable garden each year and especially enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone around the community.

Zelda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville L. Morris; four brothers, Jeff Maroney, Pete Maroney, Skinny Maroney and Joe Maroney; three sisters, Sarah Paxton, Gertie Hill and Betty Kellum.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, representing five generations of family.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm all on Monday, August, 24, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Strong, with Bro. Scotty Guillot officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakewood Cemetery in Crossett under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
